The purpose of the NLWG Small Grants scheme is to encourage the development and use of local land to enrich wildlife and to increase the public involvement in such areas for the benefit of nature. The Grants are primarily meant for strictly not-for-profit, community groups in the Lancaster and Morecambe area and are intended for the purchase of goods and equipment (bat and bird boxes, bee hotels, seeds, etc.) that will be used in the furtherance of wildlife and conservation goals. Awards will normally be up to a maximum of £200.
